This event is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit with beautiful animated and stationary displays throughout the park. It is put on by Ocean City’s Recreation and Parks Department beginning in mid-November and lasting through the New Year. Catch the Winterfest Express, a train ride through a fantasy land of twinkling lights and glittering displays. We enjoyed The Twelve Days of Christmas and Fairy Tale displays all set to music. After our ride, we sipped hot chocolate and ate warm baked goodies. We bought a few souvenirs and holiday items. Santa is available for photos and hugs. The cost is $3 for riders 12 and over. Children are free.
