The Grand Mayan is the best resort in Nuevo Vallarta, you cane relax in the pool, or you can play, the hade lazy river, also wave pool and water slide, that keep all areas extra clean, also any ware you look there is a person to help you in whatever you want. The restaurants are elegant and not expensive, and the food is really good. If you would like to go to the downtown and don't want to use a taxi, you can take the local shutter to the market place and from there you can take the local bus, is very cheap and local people are very nice.

Beautiful mountain views, quiet, relaxing, convenient in that everything is right there, very fun. I will definitely go back and stay at the Mayan Palace.

The beach is just a step away from the pool. It's very nice and clean and somewhat private since Nuevo Vallarta is a gated community. I saw no vendors at the Mayan Palace beach. You can also check out Boogie boards or rent Jet Skis.
