New River Beach

It is one of the nicest spots in the summertime, where if the tide is low, you can walk out quite far. Beautiful desert-soft sand, and they have a canteen as well that offers a variety of things. Once out of the year, they have a huge sand-sculpture competition where the radio stations and TV station come out.

This beach has the most gorgeous sand and is probably one of the biggest tourist attractions just outside of the city. Plenty of activities go on here during the summer, including the most famous sand sculptures. This beach is great for all ages and groups. Come with the family, or bring a couple drinks for you and some buds.
