The New Brunswick Museum is a very interesting museum. It carries most pieces as you would assume in most but it seems to cater a bit to everyone. When you first walk in you get to see re-creations of the history of New Brunswick, then upstairs to see the aquatic hisotry with the skeletons swimming above your heads. The geological exibits will show you animals that you could never imagine. There is a childrens centre for kids to learn as well. Exibits both in sculputure and paintings are even furher upstairs along with exibits with ceramics and jewelry.

Don't forget to check the height of the glorious bay of fundy in the middle of the museum.

I think just seeing the look on my children's faces is enough. When they see the huge bones of the dinosaurs, the look speaks for itself.

The Market Square location features a special marine mammals gallery, which is home to "Delilah", a 40-foot North Atlantic right whale that beached off Grand Manan in 1992. Delilah's full skeletal remains are on display, hanging from the ceiling. Other galleries at this location include the only (and first) gallery in New Brunswick to be devoted entirely to New Brunswick, Canadian, and international art. Others allow you to take a geological trek through time, make a documentary in a fully equipped TV studio, play in the large hands-on Discovery Centre, or learn about the industries that shaped the province. The NB Museum houses the best collection of Loyalist artifacts on the North American continent, and the largest collection of ships' portraiture in Canada. In addition, it has a large natural history gallery, fine and decorative arts, and historical collections.

The newest feature is a tidal tube, found in the museum's lobby. Connected to the harbor, water in the tube rises and falls with the tide. This location also has ample space for traveling exhibits, a gift shop and bookstore, a full audio-visual theatre, a workshop, and lunch rooms.
