Description: Salt Springs Island was where we spent our first night of the charter. The place we stayed was the Ganges Harbor Marina. It was under new management and they had done everything possible to make things as comfortable as possible for Marina guests. The staff was very helpful in helping us tie-up, castoff, and re-fuel. All of the facilities were brand new and the marina was right in the heart of the town. There were several good restaurants and as always the other boat crews made us feel right at home. To get there we went to the edge of the Georgia Strait out of Bedwell Harbor and turned North until we came to the place known as "Active Pawssage" between Galliano and Mayne Islands. I think the scenery between those islands and the next one Provost Island were among the most beautiful I have ever seen.
