The Guide Friday Bus Tour in Glasgow is a must for first time visitors. The tour starts at George Square, so it was very convenient for us. Although you can get off at each stop, then reboard the next bus to continue the tour, we decided to ride the entire tour before we got off to investigate. We took the West Loop Tour first, which drove by and/or stopped at Kelvingrove Art Museum and Gallery, the Glasgow Transport Museum, Glasgow University, the Hunterian, the McIntosh House, Tenement House and the Academy of Music & Drama. Back at George Square, we changed buses for the East Loop Tour. We saw Glasgow Cathedral, St. Mungo Museum of Relgion, People's Palace and the Clyde River. We got off long enough to have hot chocolate and a hot pie from Gregg's, made a quick visit to the hotel, then back to the bus tour, this time getting off and visiting some of the sights we'd seen earlier. At a price of only 5GBPs, you can ride this bus for 24 hours. A great way to cover the entire city.
