The state park is very beautiful. They have many areas to park and access the beach. The restroom facilities were well kept. There were also showers to wash the sand off before entering the car.

We walked along the beach south of the Vanderbilt Inn to grab lunch and cold drinks.

Parking in Naples can be a bear, especially when trying to go to the beach. At the Vanderbilt, you can park your car for $10 right at the resort. The best part is that the $10 may be used to purchase drinks and food at the Tiki Bar, located right on the beach! This is a wonderful outdoor atmosphere with live bands and gorgeous sunsets. Fantastic "cheeseburgers in paradise"! In fact, my husband and I had our rehearsal dinner right here on the beach.

You can also stay the night at this resort for about $89 (poolside) in the off-season. Don't expect anything fancy, but direct access to the beach with a Tiki Bar right there is good enough for me!
