Merry Go Round Museum

The museum was a lot of fun. First you go in and buy your ticket. Then a guide takes you on a tour of the museum. He or she teaches you things about the merry go rounds. For example he taught me that the right side of the horse is more decorated than the left side, because you hardly ever see the left side. I also saw many animal carosels such as goats, giraffes, dogs and pigs. We learned where and when the first merry go round was made, and we got to watch a worker actually carving a horse. When we were finished exploring, we got to ride the huge merry go round in the middle of the museum. I think that was the best part. On the way out there was a gift shop. I didn't buy anything there, but I did enter to win a carosel. The raffle tickets were one dollar each.
