I stayed at the Westin, which is right on the HarbourFront. It's a nice place to walk around. There are some dining choices - not a lot. There are plenty of hot-dog vending carts and several tour boats to choose from. It is an easy walk to the Rogers Centre.

Harbourfront Centre is a year-round facility, featuring concerts, dance performances, and many other cultural activities and programs. It is located in the Toronto Harbor Area and is a great family location with something for everyone.
