"May the sun shine, all day long, everything go right, and nothing wrong. May those you love bring love back to you, and may all the wishes you wish come true!" ~Irish Blessing

Just off Bourbon, a shop's sign caught my eye on Toulouse. "The Irish Shop," it said, and underneath, "and Scottish, too." I walked up a step and into the shop. Lively fiddle and pipe music greeted me as I walked in.

Many things were in this interesting shop. Green and white ornaments with names hung on a tree. Magnets, T-shirts, and other souvenirs were in this shop. The shop is up the street from O'Flaherty's Irish Channel Pub. It says Irish Channel, but the street is not the Irish Channel. The Irish Channel, where the Irish of New Orleans live, is near Magazine Street in Uptown. Erin Go Bragh!

The shop is no longer in existence since 2006.
