Cafe Britt Coffee Tour

This isn't a 'real' coffee plantation, but it is the only one with a entertaining tour, a show, and free coffee. Make reservations for this on one of your days in San Jose. It can also be combined with a tour of the Butterfly Farm. They will provide transportation from San Jose if you can't get to Heredia on your own. This tour is fun, educational,(Did you know that coffee destined to be decaffeinated is shipped to Germany, where the caffeine is extracted and used in soft drinks and pain-killers, and then shipped back?) and includes lunch.
