Bahama Divers have been in business for more than 28 years and guarantee the highest level of customer service at their 5-star P.A.D.I. location. They offer everything from a learn-to-dive resort course to a multi-day dive package allowing divers of all skill levels to experience the exciting underwater world of the Bahamas.
I first began diving in 1993 and sought the services of Bahama Divers. They sent a PADI Five-Star I.D.C. dive master named Roscoe to the hotel, and he instructed us on all the necessary information, allowing us to obtain a resort certification. This included a 90-minute pool lesson, all the equipment, and an escorted, shallow afternoon reef dive at Thunderball Reef. The funny thing about this story is that Roscoe was also the van driver, the boat captain, my dive buddy, and (on the return boat trip back to shore) the bartender. Since then, I have used Bahama Divers several times and have always gone diving with Roscoe, every time.
Bahama Divers offers dive sites that are selected to offer you an underwater adventure beyond compare. You can make reservations with the U.S. offices located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, by either calling the toll-free number (800) 398-3483 or by emailing them at bahdiver@diveres.com. Or, if you prefer, contact the Bahamian office in Nassau, Bahamas, by either calling (242) 393-5644 or by emailing them at bahdiver@coralwave.com. You can dive the Bahamian reefs of Angelfish Reef, Barracuda Shoals, Cannonball Reef, or the Fish Hotel. Maybe you are a bit more exploratory and would rather do a wreck dive to places like the BJ Wreck , the Da La Salle Wreck, or visit the Mahoney Wreck , which dates back to the 1800s.
The pricing varies depending upon what dive you wish to do. For instance, they have instructional dives like the Resort "Learn to Dive" Course for $70 and the Open Water Certification (4-5 days, 4 dives) for $449. Or maybe you are already certified and interested in a 2 Days of 2-Tank AM Dives for $130, or maybe a 3 Days of 2-Tank AM Dives for $175. Both multi-day dives include the tanks, weights, belt, mask, and fins. Bahama Divers also offers snorkeling for those just not ready to dive.
In all, I have been traveling to the Bahamas for 12 years, and I have had nothing but great success when diving with Bahama Divers and will continue to do so in the future.
