You need to make reservations to go on Bula. You will be picked up at your hotel. As soon as you board the boat, you are offered a a beautiful fruit plate. Then we went out, using the motor because the wind wasn't up yet. We went to Deer Island where the crew put down the anchor. We had a choice of kayaking or snorkeling (or just relaxing on the beach). We kayaked out to the island from where we were anchored--if you need someone to kayak you out there, just ask! We spent a couple of hours out at the island before sailing back, and that was a wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating experience. Feeling the warm wind blow and the ocean mist spraying us! Wow! I have a son who went with me. He is developmentally disabled and he told me that Bula was the best part of our trip to Mazatlan.
