My husband and I went parasailing together. It was fantastic! The men that take you are really personable. The experience was unforgettable. I was glad that we could go together . . . I was a little nervous at first, but it was sooo worth it!!!

You are driven out to a freestanding dock in the middle of the ocean. Once you slip the diaper-like harness over your legs, you clip the parachute to the end. Squatting down you run as the rope tightens, and then like Peter Pan you are hoisted effortlessly in the air, reaching an altitude of 300 feet. I looked down and could see the ocean floor and all the colors the sunlight reflected off the water. You feel like you are flying and can see the whole island from where you are. Pictures revealed me to be a mere speck from the dock but I felt like the only one truly alive!
