Mountain Boarding

My 11-year-old son has been wanting to go mountain boarding for years. He finally got his chance when we went to New Hampshire. I went with him and unlike something complicated like fly fishing, mountain boarding is relatively simple: Get on the board, go downhill while trying not to fall. Like many video gamers, mountain boarding was harder than my son thought it was. Even though, he quickly got the swing of things and had a great time. Attitash has a small area where you can learn how to stay on your board. Then you can graduate to the BMX park, but we never got that far. We had a great time. It was only a few dollars and it gave my son a healthy dose of self-confidence. Highly recommended.
