In June, the road was closed for one day for motorcycles only. It's a very steep windy road, and I'm glad it was bikes only. Everyone on the road maintained a slow speed, which made the ride enjoyable. Once at the top, there are beautiful views of five states and Canada. You can see a reflecting pond and a nearby ski resort. The temperature drops considerably as you ascend the mountain. Hikers can also hike the mountain, eight miles high. The mountain is owned by the parks, so there is a fee to enter, but well worth the cost.
