This place is unbelievable. The accommodations are lush and expansive. Mountains are huge, with plenty of runs for all levels. I'm a steady blue cruiser and had lots of fun until the runs got icy. Check out the runs in the Gulch area and definitely have a bite at the Ritz!

Ski Lessons at Beaver Creek

I really can't say a bad word about any service, food, or activity that we did at Beaver Creek. This resort is top-notch! The ski lessons for kids are great. My daughter was four and literally went from a very beginning skiier from last season to a mountain skiier on this trip! That was all thanks to a few days of lessons at Beaver Creek. She is now skiing green and blue runs, and we don't have any need for lessons anymore (unless mom and dad want a day without the kids?) She had a great teacher, low student to teacher ratios, and fun/family atomosphere for learning and good times. The prices are high, but you certainly get your money's worth. After all, we don't need to pay for any more lessons in the future :)

Lots of skiing for all abilities in two large ski areas. Vail also does very well with its children's programs. Vail's back bowls are awesome if they get good snowfall. All are upper intermediate to expert. Plenty of lower intermediate beginner trails on the front.
