Story Land to Conway Train

Story Land is ideal for kids. Our 4-year-old had a blast, and though it was the last weekend for the season, there was still a lot to do and the lines were not long.

The Conway Train was fun. We did the First Class option to sit at the end of the train. He did not like the speed of the train at first, but sitting outside on the end of the train was a huge treat...great opportunity to play "I spy."

Fun for the young family to really have a nice day or two...definitely CAN see it all in a day but still if you go after 3pm one day you get a whole other day free....which isn't too much. It's nice that way to explore and get to what you liked the most the next day you go....all lines move pretty quick...heard a few days, but no kids!

A family-owned amusement park, they seem to have put a lot of effort into improving and obtaining new rides. A great variety of entertainment with activities from the youngest kiddie rides to the small but speedy roller coaster. Very busy and hot when we visited (thank heavens for their "sprinkler tents") -- we could have spent one and a half days here before we saw everything and revisited some favorites. Could visit here for many years with growing children.

This park is very clean and well organized. We have been there twice and enjoyed it thoroughly both times. There are lots of trees, benches and clean paths, so you and your kids won't tire very quickly.

If you enter the park after 3 p.m. (they close at 6 p.m.) you get a free admission for another full day which can be used any time.

Storyland is very clean, situated in a silvan location (lots of shade available during hot summer days). The layout and types of rides available are very safe for children of all ages. This park is a definite must if your are vacationing in this area with small children. Very affordable as well (especially when compared to Disney and other high quality theme parks).
