One cannot talk about N Conway without mentioning that it is one of those places known for its outlet malls. There are many and also great local shops. I love the 5 and 10 - downtown.

North Conway is known for its various outlets including Nautica, The Gap, Haggar's, K-B Toys, LL Bean, Haggar, Carter's, Jones NY, and Wilson's. There are too many to name them all, but we tried to visit most of them. We found that the prices were excellent at this time of year because they were trying to liquidate the winter clothing before spring. There are also a variety of quaint little New England shops that are family owned in the area. They are perfect for finding unique gifts.

It's too bad we didn't have more time to spend in North Conway. We passed SO many outlet shops - everything from Gap to LL Bean to Aigner. It's a shopper's paradise! I can imagine my mother and myself getting into some serious debt there. We did stop into a fudge shop and bought some delightful chocolate and a cute little stuffed moose.
We decided that in the future we would like to stay closer to North Conway. The town has so much to offer, and it's snuggled in between beautiful mountains. We saw a few adorable Bed and Breakfasts along the main street. This was definitely the most crowded area we drove, basically because the slopes and shopping are right there.
