The really huge market is in Ventemiglia, which is just over the border from Menton in Italy. Sorry, I can't tell you what was being sold there -- we couldn't find anywhere to park! There are 2 markets on a Friday morning, one in the town and one down at the harbour, and I would suppose one should get there about 8am to be able to park. We just drove through, crawling along through the thousands of people and stalls, so at least we got to see it. We could have finally found a car park kilometres away, but by that stage, we had had enough. Went on down the coast of Italy and had lunch in a little beach café instead. Less stressful!
