As with a lot of the other activities and destinations I've mentioned in this review, it's kind of wrong to visit the city of Nashville, the heart and soul of country music, and not visit the legendary Ernest Tubb Record Shop. Unless you are an avid record collector, or have some other reason for wanting to visit this shop, in many ways it's just a technicality. Pop in for a look around and to say that you've been. But such little moments contribute to the joy of travelling, and if you do have the time, I would suggest doing it, for exactly those reasons.
There is a great selection of country music here to look through, and you can't possibly miss it when walking down Broadway in Nashville. But like I said, unless you're going to look for some obscure country music album that you can't seem to find anywhere online, the place doesn't have a lot to offer entertainment wise. But that doesn't mean it's not worth stopping in, having a browse, getting a good, rich wallow in the history and the soul of the place, and maybe picking up something as a souvenir. And with everything else in Nashville, you never know who you might run into!
