Cool River Tubing was fun and easy. Our ten year old daughter has autism. For families whose children who have an attention disorder, a simple free item makes it really easy to keep a child from floating away. This is strapped to connect to tubes together. Many people strapped their tubes together, so you won't feel different. Of course, children with autism often find the water calming. So for us, it was a delight to find this activity. Disability or not, many families found this nice.

This was definitely a new experience for me. My husband, 5-year-old daughter, and I spent approximately 2 hours floating down the Chattahoochie River. The cost was very reasonable ($5 per adult and our daughter was free). We rented three tubes and were transported by bus to the upper end of Helen. From there we were on our way down river. It was so relaxing except for the few times we had to push ourselves off the rocks after getting caught in some mild rapids. It was great fun!
