We set off in Ft. Lauderdale. We took a slow cruise and looked at all the expensive homes. The captain of the boat told us a little about some of the them. Then we stopped at a little island to dine. Afterwards they had entertainment. It was very nice. I would do it again.

The guided tour cruise down the new river was nice and entertaining. The homes of the rich and famous were pointed out along the way. Some of the yachts were spectacular!

When we arrived on the island there were monkeys, exotic birds, alligators, and the all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner (ribs, chicken, and shrimp). Following dinner was a fun variety show with plenty of audience participation and a relaxing ride back to the dock at Ft. Lauderdale beach.

My family enjoyed it!
