Aerial Tramway is located in East Park Village and is one block south of the post office. Once you've seen the sign, you won't forget its whereabouts.
Up, up, and away you go on the tram that takes you above the tree tops to Prospect Mountain. Once you have arrived there, you have a choice of staying there all day or return whenever you wish. The choice is yours. We didn't think we would be up there all that long, but little did we know what adventure and "critters" were awaiting us.
From the observation deck, you will have a beautiful panoramic view of Longs Peak, ranges of Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Estes Park Village. What a sight this place beholds!

Remember me mentioning critters? Well, these are the adorable chipmunks we've fallen in love with. They are so friendly. They come right up to you and take food right out of your hand. By the way, you can purchase food in the Snack Bar for these beautiful chipmunks. Our kids absolutely loved their "new friends" and didn't want to leave them behind. I think if it wasn't for our newfound friends, we would have left a lot sooner.
Overall, our trip with Aerial Tramway was a very memorable one. I think this is something that would be enjoyable for all ages, especially the kids.
