Animal Kingdom is a combination theme park and zoo, which makes it a bit unique. The atmosphere is cool - you feel like you are in the jungle somewhere. We loved the Lion King show and the Safari Ride, where you are taken out in a jeep-like car on a pretend safari with your own driver narrating. My kids loved the Pocahontas show, which had lots of animals with walk-on roles.

Animal Kingdom is truly magical from the moment you step into Entrance Plaza until you leave.

All the plants are mature, exotic, very lush; beautifully done. You encounter nature everywhere, as many birds and smaller animals are in their natural habitats. The gorillas are entertaining to watch and are safely behind a natural-looking enclosure. For the larger animals, you are in a safe safari vehicle.

We spent two days there, but you could easily spend more time in seeing things more than once or twice.

As FL residents, we have seasonal tickets; however, we took our 10-month-old for the first time to this park. If you're a family with very young kids or babies, this is the park for you. If you are a thrill-seeker and need to relax, this is the park for you too.

Disney made this park in an African-safari style. It is similar to Busch Gardens in Tampa in that respect, although more lavish in decor. The villages that the 'worlds' are in truly feel like villages, with huge trees topping your walkways and huts for stores. Everyone is in full costume, the food stations are clean and bright and so colorful, even the walls are filled with animals. We were exhausted after five hours, mainly from pushing the stroller! There is so much to see. There's only one true thrill ride, but there are a lot of animal encounters. Next time we intend to do the indoor attraction "It's Tough to Be a Bug."

Finally, one of the best parts of Animal Kingdom is that it isn't as crowded as the Magic Kingdom. It is so much easier to get a picture with Mickey and other cast members. You don't have to wait in line, just walk right up for the most part!

We really enjoyed visiting Animal Kingdom. It has a wide variety of experiences from the rides to the entertainment. The shows were wonderful. My son even participated in the Lion King show. Wonderful opportunities for kids to interact with the characters.

The great outdoors served up to you in a nice little bundle that you can enjoy all day long. This was my favorite park out of them all. My wife and I had a great day that turned into a second day at this park.
