Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival

Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival: this is not really a festival. It is more of a theme where the stores decorate with fall themed decorations. There were really no planned events or food, or anything you would expect from a festival.

Harvest Festival is held each year during the entire month of October. Decorations are themed around harvest/Halloween and Thanksgiving. Gospel music is spotlighted by various artists and groups, found within the park.Additionally, there are other genre of music such as the 50's, country, etc. Local artisans and craftsmans display their wares(for sale)in numerous booths. There Is a clothing store called "Dolly's Closet" and a little kids store as well.Of particular interest to us was the Refuge for injured raptors and eagles. It is one of a few located in the country. Don't miss it. Many choices for food and drink. Prices are very reasonable. Suggest you get a 2 day pass as there is lot to see and do.
