Ok--we're a volleyball team, so it's only natural that we would seek out and challenge anyone willing to play us! The Megatlon clubs in Congreso, Caballito, and Floresta (all boys club) were more than willing to set up "juegos amistosos"--literally "friendship games". After the match, we'd hand out boxes of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii, and we've made friends for life!
Of course you don't HAVE to be a volleyball player (or any kind of player, for that matter) to check out these clubs. If you need to keep up your excercise regimen while away from home, all these clubs have one-time, weekly, or monthly membership rates that are quite reasonable. All of the clubs are well-equipped with excercise machines and free weights. Some have pools, basketball courts, soccer, and tennis. Check them out online here.
