Road Trip

Start the trolley ride first thing in the morning. You can get on and off all day. The driver gives history as you go. Take plenty of film. This is a must-see if you are this close!

Trip to Washington DC

  • October 25, 2004

The tour was a great way to see the things in the capital that you probably couldn't have on your own. We spent the day there, starting with the IWO JIMA Statue and ending with the White House. The tour guide talked to us while we went and said different and interesting things about each thing we were about to see.

A bus is the best way of getting around and seeing the most. It is a long day 6:30am to 10:30pm. We visited Iwo Jima Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, White House Visitor Center, Lincoln Memorial, Supreme Court, The Korean Memorial, United States Capitol, Library of Congress, and the Rossevelt Memorial. Due to increased security they may have made changes to the agenda.
