Historical Main Street in Park City, Utah is a must-see, especially if this is your first visit. There are so many little shops and restaurants located on this street alone. Luckily for us, the shops and restaurants were open - and it wasn’t crowded at all.
When we visited Park City during Memorial Day, we had no idea things would be uneventful. Even at our resort, Grand Summit, none of The Canyons shops were open. We were so happy to see that THAT wasn't the case with Park City's Downtown Main Street. Granted, it wasn't busy and it had a "ghost town" feel to it; it was nevertheless a wonderful time to soak in all of the sights. No bumping into anyone. No shoulder to shoulder crowds. Just a nice walk along the side of the street, basking in over 100 shops and restaurants.
If you are the type who's searching for an adventure, then this is NOT the time for you to come. You won't find any commotions or any flurry of activities. I believe this is Park City's time to recuperate in between seasons - right after winter and right before summer.
However, if you are looking for some sequestered moments in Park City, you've come at the right place, at the right time. Park City won't disappoint you. You'll have the chance to breathe in all of its uninterrupted beauty - right before your eyes. Isn't that the true meaning of what life is all about? Savor those unbroken moments...
