Lagoon

Lagoon has a lot of fun rides for kids and adults. They also have a water park. Sometimes the lines to get on rides are really short, and sometimes they are long. It all depends on the time of day. My kids love the kiddie rides. I used to love all the rides for older people until I got motion sick. The Colausus is probably the most popular ride. There are height requirements on a lot of the rides. Our 6-year old kid was not tall enough for most of the big rides. There are rides the whole family can go on, such as the log ride. If you want to get completely soaked, the ride called "Rattlesnake Rapids" will drench you. Some other favorites are "The Rocket" and the huge Ferris Wheel. This amusement park has a ride for everyone.

Lagoon is a smaller amusement park located about 15 minutes from Salt Lake City. They have so many rides and attractions that any age would enjoy. If you tend to get motion sickness, you might want to take a Dramamine pill before you go--I do. The roller coaster is old but a favorite. It seems like every couple of years they come up with a new ride. Right now there is one that is a ball attached to some bungee cords. It is way too high for me to try. The water park is fun, but it was really crowded when we were there. It did seem like they had a lot of lifeguards.

Wow! What a rush! This place is great for family fun. Everyone will find something that fits there level. From roller coasters to haunted houses and everything else in between. There is even a water park inside the park which doesn’t cost extra. Don’t worry about the little kids there are even rides for them in Kiddie Land. Lagoon encourages picnics and outside food. They have many pavilions and grassy areas to eat. There are also food places in the park as well as Arbys and Subway. You do have to pay to park. $7 There are many games which have great prizes. Pioneer Village inside the park is a rendition of pioneers living style. You can go in some of the homes and discover how they lived. There is live entertainment at various stages throughout the park. There are even live animals and you can feed some of them. If you take the train ride it goes past all the animals they have. They have tigers, zebras, hogs, camels, and more. Overall this place is great!

Just a 10 minute drive North of Salt Lake City, this is the only amusement park in the state. It offers world-class rides, world-class entertainment, and a fun, family atmosphere. Bring your swim suits, because they also have a waterslide park, right in the middle of the Amusement Park!

"Pioneer Village" gives history buffs a chance to look into the past, and provides a unique perspective on life in the old west. The Wild West Shootout is always a favorite with visitors, complete with stuntmen falling off buildings, and girls being rescued! You watch from the side street as the plot unfolds!

There are picnic facilities, an onsite campground, and plenty to eat and drink along the way to the live entertainment! Music revues, original dance shows, and clowns, mimes, and jugglers all take part in make Lagoon a Fun, Family experience!
