Well, we were limited due to the snow, but the gambling was great, and the boarding was absolutely remarkable. With powder up to my chest and no one on the slopes, it could not have been better.

I won't give details as to how to get there, but Heavenly has some of the best OB skiing in Tahoe with no one on it. We skied a 2,000-foot vertical and face-shot powder one run after another. It's a good bit of work to get in and out of the area, ...Read more

We went to Lake Tahoe for one reason. To ski. The Lake Tahoe area has many different ski resorts, each with its own pros and cons. Since we were staying at the Tahoe Seasons Resort right across the street from Heavenly Mountain, we decided we would ...Read more

They have a better-than-decent terrain park and half pipe; although the resort map showed three, the other two were closed. IF YOU SNOWBOARD, BEWARE: going from California side to Nevada side or vice versa, you most likely will have to unstrap and ...Read more

Best of IgoUgo We are a mixed skiing and non-skiing family, and this is my resort of choice for a winter ski vacation, because of the mix of excellent skiing and many other non-skiing activities readily available. We started coming here many years ago, and just ...Read more

Heavenly has all levels of skiing and great ski schools. Lots of terrain to ski and to get lost. They also have tubing and snowshoeing at the terrain park area. It's a must to ski!
