Cave Point

Stunning. Cave Point is a wonderland of limestone cliff and outcroppings that are constantly challenged by the mighty waves of Lake Michigan. Usually the cliffs win - but occassionally, assisted by a storm or old man winter, the waves have claimed a victory. A crevasse here, a cascade of rock there, - all part of the beauty of this special place. As if to protect the cliffs and keep them a secret, Cave Point is cloaked in a cedar forest carpeted with wild flowers.
