Evergreen State College

The campus of Evergreen State College is fairly grey and unattractive. But it's worth checking out if you're a nuture lover, as it's located in the middle of the forest with tall pine trees everywhere. The Longhouse is one of the few architectural niceties of the campus, built in a traditional coast Native American style. The Organic Farm is a pleasant trip back into the woods, and features a small wooden cottage that is used primarily for classroom get-togethers. Nearby is the beach where you can go hunting for geoducks, the massive and poor tasting clam that serves as a mascot for the school.
