Uncommon Angles

To say that this is an uncommon shop is an understatement. One of my favorite places for my husband to shop for me! (Is that clear enough?) Handmade jewelry, hand blown glass, furniture and other art pieces. Generally in a very modern vogue. This is NOT a craft shop. The artists whose work is for sale here are strickly top class.

This shop has become a destination for those of us who love silver jewelry. The selection is impressive and you won't see yourself walking down the street. Browsing in this shop is great fun even if you don't make a purchase. The owners and staff and friendly and are quite willing to explain their unusual items.

Most credit cards accepted. This shop is on the left (south) side of The University Park Village shopping center between Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. About 6 blocks south of Interstate 30 West and 5 minutes north of the Zoo and Log Cabin Village. Ten minutes from Texas Christian University.

A big landmark to find this center might be the new Staples Office Supply Store that is on the southern edge. There are a few places in this center where a male might wise to shop. Hours are 10 to 9 daily, noon to 5 on Sunday.

This shopping center has several very popular restaurants as well as a Starbucks in the Barnes and Noble Book Store. It can get very busy, but usually there's plenty of parking. Christmas activities include carrage rides and elegant lighting. Overflow parking is to the north and west of the main center. Security is good.
