D/FW Airport is so large that it contains two 18 hole golf courses. These are available to guests and other visitors at the hotel as are 7 tennis courts and racquetball courts. This must be unusual for an airport hotel. The golf courses are part of the property that separates the airplane activities from the people who live around the airport. Conditions can be very windy and very hot in summer. How many people can say that they have played golf on a major airport?
