The street address of this center is: 9601 Fossil Ridge roadTexas as it looked prior to civilization. Wild, but safe walking trails. Knowledgable guides. Plenty to do for a whole day. This is on one of the bigest lakes around. Very enjoyable, inexpensive family outing.
New attraction: The Bison Feeding Experience and Hay Ride
The outing is offered seasonally especially during school breaks and will have a regular daily schedule beginning in March. Great fun for all as a hay wagon is pulled by a pick up truck (very Texan) through the 6,900 acres of the Nature Center. Many wild animals will be seen often close up including deer and prairie dogs. The bison feeding is actually a bit of surprise fun for children as many have no idea how big a bison is. Telephone the Nature Center to see when this is running.
