Cattle Raiser's Museum

telephone (817) 332-8551, 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday, 1 pm to 5 pm Sundays, adults $3, children and seniors less. An extremely well done museum about the history of the cattle raising industry in Texas. Includes several rooms that appear to be very 'true to life' rather than just museum cases full of stuff. The people on hand are very knowledgable. A few blocks from downtown Fort Worth, but a little too far to walk. A trolly for visitors runs from downtown past this museum to all the major visitor areas in Fort Worth. Public buses also. This museum is a treat and is under visited. This museum really explains a lot about the real Texas.
