The only reason we decided to go to San Jose was to see the Arizona Wildcats play at least one more game this season. Over the 4 days, we spent a lot of time at HP Pavilion watching all nine games of the tournament. It was a lot of fun, even though our team lost in their first game. We saw some great games and Nikki Blue scoring 36 points for UCLA and USC almost beating Stanford, the number one team in the nation. We got to see the bands battle each other before the games and great halftime entertainment, including a martial arts show that reminded me of the one I saw in China.
With all the time spent at HP Pavilion, this is where we ate a lot of our meals. The prices of food and drinks are somewhat expensive, as you can expect at a sports arena, but the arena contains a wide variety of food choices. You can find pizza, seafood, popcorn, burgers, and fries among the selections. Overall, we found the food good. I especially like the fries and mom liked the Philly cheesesteak. The only unsatisfactory food was the pizza. It ended up being cold and the cheese stuck to the box.
