Lady Cyana Divers

My husband loves Lady Cyana! This shop might as well be the "other woman" in our lives. But I'm not jealous because the look on his face when he comes back from one of their dives is so worth it! The staff and boat captains are wonderful - they know their stuff, they're kind and patient, and you can tell they love what they do. The dives are great - two tank reef or wreck dives, with plenty to see, including rays, turtles, nurse sharks, and eels. The night dives are especially wonderful. And for those of you who don't dive, like me, they offer ride-alongs.

Diving in Islamorada with Lady Cyanna

Even though Islamorada is known as the "Sport fishing Capital of the World", we think it also should be known for some top notch dive sites. On the second day of our trip, we headed out to our favorite Islamorada dive shop, Lady Cyana , and boarded a boat (with only three other divers) to a spot known as The Secret Garden.

The Secret Garden was a spectacular mix of both hard and soft coral. The visibility and tropical marine life was amazing. The depth ranged from 25-35 feet so we got an incredible amount of bottom time to observe and interact with tons of tropical fish, several rays, eels, and nurse sharks (harmless of course). There was only a slight current, and the dive was a perfect way to start the day.
