Oak Creek is this amazing creek that runs through Sedona. About 15 minutes north of town on the 89 you will come to Slide Rock State Park. If you have kids this is a great place for them. If you are a kid at heart this is a great place. Over time the creek has sculpted the rocks and smoothed them down. There are sections of the creek where natural small waterslides have formed. If you're in Sedona during the summer, you must visit Slide Rock to scoot around and relax in the shallow waters.
