Blu Q

Key West is known for its beautiful sunsets. Most will view it from Mallory Square in the every evening. For a better way to experience the sunset, Blu Q is a great way to go.

Captain Steve and first mate John greeted us upon arrival. After removing and storing our shoes (which are not allowed on board), we were provided with soft drinks and wine. On this particular night (a Tuesday), it was an all-male cruise at a special rate of $35. We had a small group of 10 onboard.

The time aboard was very comfortable. We were able to meet people from around the country and share our experiences so far in the city. Captain Steve and John were the perfect hosts, exuding true Southern hospitality. The only downfall was after the sunset and the cruise were over. The excursion lasted over 2 hours and sure beat viewing the sunset from among the crowds in Mallory Square.

Blu Q

This is a two-hour evening cruise and harbor tour to chase the setting sun into the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico. Soft drinks, beer, and wine are included. For the gay male traveler, there is no reason this should be missed. Make it worthwhile and show the person you're with that you love them: try not to go overboard on the free booze. This is the single most important activity any gay man could choose to participate in while in Key West. An ABSOLUTE must.
