At Waterlemon Cay, we experienced perfect water with lots of fish and coral. We enjoyed this site because it was not too crowded. Pack a snack and sunscreen and plan to stay all day.

Waterlemon Caye is where duels were allowed in the 1800s. Hot-blooded gentlemen would come over from St. Thomas and Tortola to settle things on this micro-island. It's now a great place to snorkel. You do have to walk a ways to get to the launch point, but it's worth the effort. You set off across a small, but deep channel, before arriving at the beach of Watermelon Caye. I saw many a large starfish on our way over. Swim clockwise. Many don't encircle the island because of strong current, but the overall adventure is quite exhilerating.
