Sea Life Park

Sea Life Park has lots of local sea life: dolphins, seals, penguins, sea birds, turtles, etc.

The park is located right on the ocean, and you have great views of Rabbit Island. We were there in January which is when the whales are migrating. We were able to see them out in the distance blowing water and splashing! It was really great!

The park is great for families and there are places for little kids to play if they get bored waiting for shows to start. The animals put on great shows and the trainers are kind and funny.

You can purchase packages that include interacting with some of the animals, although my husband and I did not. You can get in the water with stingrays as well as dolphins. You can also purchase lettuce to feed the turtles.

We enjoyed the shows and learning more about the ocean life surrounding the Hawaiian islands.

Sea Life Park

The Sea Life Park was a fun time. The shows were fun. There was a small demonstration style dolphin show that was nifty -- the penquins did make an appearance. The big dolphin show was campy. There were sea lions, sharks, sting rays and all sorts of other marine life. Quite educational.

The dolphin encounter of course costs extra but since I had never done it before I had to give it a shot. I loved it.

The food in the park was actually pretty good and the prices weren't too bad. They also had the DOTS ice cream.

All in all, a fun day and well worth the price of admission.
