It's absolutely beautiful to lie on the beach during the day, read a book, people watch, watch the dolphins playing out at sea, or swim. We enjoy walking as far as possible to admire some of the multimillion-dollar homes along the coast. We also like to count the sea turtle nests. At night, it is so much fun to walk the beach with flashlights and watch the "ghost crabs" - they are so funny!

We were on the beach in November but the weather was unseasonably warm so we were able to enjoy almost five full days of sun and fun! We mostly enjoy walking and looking for shells, sanddollars and starfish. There wasn't an abundance of any of them but it still was fun to look, and when one was found it was a real joy! Watching the dolphins play in the water was also very enjoyable.

The beaches are very smooth and hard so walking and riding bikes are the number #1 activities in this area.

My husband is a avid sunrise/sunset picture nut and when we are on the beach he always manages to have some great ones -- hope you enjoy the ones I included with this review.

These were great beaches. The water was very warm and the tides came in and out, which made the beach different each time you visited it. The kids loved the skim and body boarding. The sand here is so fine and tight that you can actually ride your bike right on the sand (you can't do this in CA). We loved this place.

Beautiful view across the water. Beach is clean and we found lots of good shells. It is a great spot for a photoshoot. I took some awesome photos of my family with the beach and dunes as a backdrop.

We have a three bedroom condo here during the summer which allows us to bring our whole family down for vacation, which works out great...we provide the beautiful place to stay and get free dinners and child care in return!!! The beach provides plenty of space to throw frisbees, footballs, or ride bikes you can rent. The water is very calm and perfect for small children to play in. You have to go out quite a ways to get into deeper water, where the waves are better for adult fun!
