The Art Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and on Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm. Phone: (609)258-3788. $3.00 donation is suggested.
When you drive in and park, just anybody how to get to the museum and they will show you exactly where it is. In front of this modern building is a Picasso statue "Head of a Woman". It is about 7 ft tall and is really an amazing view. The collection of the museum is very impressive. The first floor has medieval art, impressionists, post-impressionists and avantgarde. At the time I was there they also had a collection of classic sculptures from the times of Roman empire. Some of the paintings are on a loan from private foundations and some were gifted to the museum by the alumni.
When you walk down stairs, there is a large collection of Chinese, pre-Columbian and African art. The Chinese scrolls, paintings and statues are exquisite.
Once you've seen the collection, just stroll around the campus, enjoy the nature and also look inside the on-campus church. It has gorgeous stained glass.
