Art Deco Walk

Art Deco Walk

You meet with one of the folks with the Art Deco preservation, who guides you on a 1- to 2-hour walking tour. I highly recommend doing this early in your trip, as you find many places off the beaten path to explore. The history of the Art Deco area is very interesting and was presented very well. Seeing some of the old pictures of the hotels from the WWII era and how they've changed was fascinating. Learning of the people who built these hotels and why the Art Deco design brings the 1930s to life. I was not aware that China also has an Art Deco area. Bring water and good walking shoes.
