Royal St. Antiquing

The show bars and all-hours partying are on Bourbon. The serious shopping is a block over on Royal. From Iberville to St. Louis (and maybe beyond), Royal St. is lined with antique shops, art galleries and boutiques offering high-end collectibles. Antique weapons and military gear --- some genuine, some replicas --- abound. There are also some quality restaurants on Royal, and here is where you’ll see the best examples of the lacy wrought-iron balconies New Orleans is famous for.
