Bellagio Conservatory and Fountains

The flowers in the conservatory are changed around every 2 weeks. It is very well kept. Though it is not terribly large, it is quite beautiful (and free!). It's definitely worth a look, since your trip is not complete without a visit to Bellagio anyway.

The Bellagio Botanical Gardens are beautiful and changed according to the season. They are very pretty, but if you are not a registered guest or don't have tickets to a show or the museum, don't plan on visiting this attraction, as children are not welcomed at this hotel. This hotel tends to be snooty, and as a pervious guest of many Las Vegas hotels, not very welcoming to kids. Don't expect to see a theme as you do with other Vegas hotels. This is not what you're used to.

Decorated 4 times a year, we went at Easter. It was awesome! Huge Easter eggs dangled from the ceiling. Butterflies of flowers arched across gardens laden with pink tulips, hythicines, and sculptures of fairies. Fountains surrounded by irises. The smell was heavenly, the garden shop was lovely; this is not to be missed!

Bellagio Botanical Gardens

If you want to see living flora and fauna in all its splendour and glory then you must visit the Bellagio and their Botanical Gardens just off the main entrance into the hotel.

Everything is fresh, none of the plants are artificial in the Botanical Gardens. The scene changes every two weeks and usually has some sort of theme. For Chinese New Year, the flowers were in various shades of red, gold, and yellow and included a dragon topiary. The day we were there, the theme seemed to celebrate Easter. Topiaries and arrangements were adorned with pastel tulips, roses, and hydrangea.

A definite must-see. No fee to enter.
