Swimming with the dolphins was great and should not be missed. Sign up for the long program. The underground river was fun. Also, make sure that you take the underground walk. Watch if you play with the monkeys, Howlers; they may come after you - pretty exciting. The rest of the park is interesting but somewhat typical. The Mayan restaurant was excellent for a park restaurant.

What I liked most was the Pueblo Maya because it shows more about another civilization-the way they used to built their homes is amazing! One thing that I would like to recommend is the coral reef walk-they'll put you in some kind of helmet and a pair of boots and you'll be able to take a walk through the reef!

X-Caret

This is a wonderful place to visit -- you don't want to miss X-Caret!

It is an eco-park where you will find a lot of fauna. The nice thing about this place is the many underground rivers, which are totally safe even for little children (with parents). You pay for your ticket and you have access to most of the activities there. They have snorkeling and something called snuba, which is like diving, but you breathe through a hose and you go walking under the sea. They have bat caves and a very brief play at night about Mexican history -- you must watch it! They have little plays and pre-Hispanic dances all around the park, plus a horse show of the charrería mexicana. You will find a tulip park and the beach there is beautiful. The underground rivers are so cool -- they provide you with a life jacket and you swim along the river. They have several entries and exits and it is not deep at all plus there is no way of getting lost in there. They have raccoons, birds, a butterfly sanctuary, and a little museum for children about how butterflies live.

It is a huge park so it would be recommended if you are traveling with your family to bring radios to communicate to each other so everyone can enjoy what they want. A great place to visit!

Amazing ecological park with snorkeling, beach, dolphin show, Mayan show, Mayan ball game, and horse show, with the highlight being the night show, which was a cultural and visual extravaganza. This is the second time we have seen this show, which was totally new this time. I thought the first show had amazing singing and folkloric ballet and in some ways was better than the current show. They now have a much larger theater for this show, which makes it more extravagant, but both were well worth seeing and we would definitely go again.

Xcaret

Xcaret is like an ecological Disney Land. Our day started with a leisurely walk through the jungle pathways as we checked out Cancun's natural habitat. Some of the animals you will see include monkeys hanging in the trees above, endangered sea turtles being bred and released back to the sea, and alligators crawling through the marsh of the moat that surrounds puma and jaguar island.

Xcaret is a perfect mix of education and fun. When you are tired from your jungle exploration and snorkeling in the underground river, you can relax in the hammocks or swim in the breathtaking lagoon. The night show is amazing and worth staying for even after a long day of fun in the sun. You will witness the famous ball game of the Mayans as well as many other dances, etc from Mexico's diverse cultural backgrounds. A perfect day!
