This was my first time attending the festival after hearing about it for years. Since we had planned our cruise, which was leaving out of New Orleans, we decided that this would be a great opportunity to attend.The concert was great. Since everyone was in New Orleans primarily to attend this festival, it was a great big party. Not only was there entertainment on the main stage, but they also had other rooms featuring acts, hese performed between the acts on the main stage. In fact, there was so much going on that it was really hard to see it all.
The main acts (LL Cool J, The O'Jays, and Mary J. Blige) all gave good performances that left you on your feet. It was truly a good show.
